Individual Trauma Counselling
Individual counselling offers a safe, confidential space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and challenges with a compassionate therapist. I enjoying working with with populations struggling with the impacts of complex trauma, 2SLGBTQIA+ community, and Foster parents. I incorporate the following modalities of Narrative Therapy, Ego States Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Solution Focused Therapy, and more into our work together to make sure that your healing journey is the best choice for you.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing EMDR
EMDR is a powerful, evidence-based therapy that helps people heal from trauma, anxiety, and distressing life experiences. It uses gentle, guided eye movements or bilateral stimulation to help the brain reprocess painful memories, reducing their emotional power and allowing new, healthier perspectives to emerge.
Play Therapy & Sandplay Therapy
Play therapy and sandplay are expressive, non-verbal forms of therapy especially helpful for children—but also meaningful for teens, adults, and families. Using toys, figures, and symbolic play, clients can safely express emotions, process difficult experiences, and find inner solutions. These creative methods allow the unconscious to speak, promoting deep emotional healing and integration.
Somatic Attachment Therapy
Somatic attachment therapy focuses on the deep connection between the body and emotional experiences, especially those shaped by early relationships. This approach gently helps clients become more aware of bodily sensations, nervous system responses, and patterns of relating. By working through the body, it supports healing attachment wounds, increasing emotional regulation, resilience, and a deeper sense of connection to self and others.
